The Simple Machines Forum Directory is proud to announce the beginning of a SMF link exchange.
- Like having a listing in our directory, this is a free service.
- In order to participate in this, you must be listed in our directory.
I have created several link exchange buttons (80x15), each of which reflects the particular directory advertising the particular forum software.
Please do not hotlink these button images from my directories; please place them and reference them from your own website. Bandwidth ain't cheap!! (else, I'll have to disable hotlinking with .htaccess)

All these blog buttons were made online @
http://kalsey.com/tools/buttonmaker/ ... Therefore,
if you want to change the color scheme of the buttons to match your site, please do so.
However, to have an element of consistency in the face of color diversity, please leave the text "as-is". In other words, the left box should read "
SMF" and the right box should read "
SWAP".
- Only those sites listed in our directory will be eligible to participate in this because the "random sites" are drawn from our database.
At the time of this post, there are
412 sites listed in our directory from a total of
543 submissions; this means that I have denied
131 sites that bear no relevancy with the SMF forum software.
The .HTML code to embed into your site<a href="http://www.smfoogle.com/random.php" target="_blank"><img alt=" " src="*****INSERT THE IMAGE FROM YOUR SERVER HERE******" border="0" width="80" height="15"/></a>
The BBC code to use in forum signatures and in forum posts
Happy exchanging!
Note :: The single .php file,
http://www.smfoogle.com/random.php, uses the following command to forward people to other sites; this is not done automatically when people visit smfoogle.com (of course) only when someone clicks on the SMF SWAP banner ...
header("Location: $url");
- Please post your suggestions and comments in this thread!
If you see a site that has changed their forum software from SMF to something else,
Contact us and we'll remove it after verification.
