Search directories barely bring you any traffic to your site, but how about article directories?  Do article directories bring you some traffic?

I doubt if many people actually go visit search directories like DMOZ, read site descriptions carefully and decide to go visit listed sites, but those who go visit article directories like ezinearticles.com actually read articles, don't they?  Also don't article directories bring you some traffic indirectly?  For example, if several of your articles are published on other sites, then don't they bring you some traffic?  Potentially?

Articles are definatly a great way to get more visitors to your site.
If you read an article, that you are definatly interested in the topic. So if you like the article, and want to know more about it, isn't it logical that you visit the site then to learn even more?

Also, articles can be posted on other websites aswell, hopefully with a link back to the original article or with the link to your site.
So that means even more potential visitors to your site wink

8 articles have been approved and published.  I need to edit 1 article to get it approved.  I was unable to access the internet since Dec 7th to Dec 28th for variety of reasons, so I couldn't really make progress; I couldn't really write new articles.  I need to write many more articles to see what happens.

I've got problems with finding topics to write an article about.
Seems like there are already enough articles about every topic that you could imagine.

If you think hard, there are plenty of things to write about.  Writing a good article is totally different though.

Good point
Problem is that I'm not such a good writer and I'm not so good in finding good topics to write about Tongue

The best way to write an article - the topic must be something you are interested in. That's how I do it.

Of course, sometimes there is also a need to write article on topics which you have less interest in. Do more research and then write in point form.
