Hi Everyone

I was just wondering if anyone has any experience of longtail keywords on domains which are keyword domains and domains which have the keyword domains in them but with added characters on them and how the longtail differs

Say im wanting to rank for cheapcomputerspeakers

As long as the onpage SEO is done correctly, do you think the longtail would be the same, or very near the same if you have

cheapcomputerspeakers compared to cheapcomputerspeakersuk

Basically, would the added characters whatever they are make a differencce to the amount of longtail i would get?

For the google keyword tool, the exact match is actually very low for alot of keywords so in a way looking to get the exact domain name is one factor but as long as the onpage SEO is done correctly, the traffic should still be more or less the same?

Hope that makes sense

Many Thanks

Hi,

It would be better to go with cheapcomputerspeakers.co.uk instead of cheapcomputerspeakersuk.com, if you have planned to target specific UK region.

Another point is keywords in domain and urls does help just little bit.
