I know you all are going to think I'm an old "fuddy-duddy", but I still use IE.  I have never tried Opera (who knows why? Sounds like maybe I should have!)I have tried Firefox and liked it very much, and occasionally use it, but usually just use IE!
(Old habits are hard to break??? LOL!!!)

While we're on the subject of favorite Browsers...
What are your favorite online tools?  You know...the ones you absolutely wouldn't want to live without? (Any category.)

I just found this one that is really cool.  It's called Only2Clicks.com   I know Firefox and others have something similar, but I really like this one. You can set up a personal Start Page with Thumbnail shots of the actual sites you visit most often ...I believe you can fit 12 on a page...but you can have as many pages as you'd like! You can even set up separate pages for say your favorite news sites, shopping, (forums?) whatever...There they all are...at a glance...and in living color! I love it!
It's great for someone like me: (Desktop will not hold another shortcut, and my Favorites went out of control years ago!)
Check it out if you like the idea.  Oh, and it's F*R*E*E, too...did I mention that?
Later! Linda

That does sound cool...but I have gotten quite attached to my iGoogle start page.  it has everything I might want news, weather, movie times -and because it's google - goggle mail, chat, calender, sticky notes and to do list... only a few of the cool tools available.

Firefox is my preferred browser.  I like opera's version of a start page that has thumbnail shortcuts of favorited sites.

I abhor EI - I really really hate it.. . It's the only browser in which web pages never look how I want - even though they are exactly right in all other browsers.

Hi Miko!  I actually wasn't even using a start page...
and this wouldn't have to be your "Start Page", perse...it can be just a cool place to store lots of favorite places (complete with screenshots of them)
and only use one shortcut space on your desptop!
That's what's useful to me!

Wonder why pages wouldn't look right in IE, but ok elsewhere?  That's weird, isn't it?

I see where you all were discussing favorite email services last March, I think it was...might as well resurrect that one, too, since you mentioned g-mail.

I have Yahoo, Hotmail and g-mail that I use all the time, Netscape (that I occasionally use), and INCREDIMAIL, which is my all-time favorite! (I despise Outlook...a Mortgage Co. I was with once used Outlook...never could stand it!) I think Incredimail is really good!

Can you be a little more specific, DarkVelocity?

Thanks!

Well it was just minor browsing bugs, The coding was "naff" in a word, sucked. Seen as i normally do coding. >.<;
The cookies and Security on it absolutely screwed with my computer and never let me do anything
The newer versions don't improve on anything they just make the bugs on them worse and make it harder to browse.
I just got fed up and stopped using it.

Firefox of course. IE makes me cry.
Its okay frozenball.
It'll be gone soon.

It's Firefox for me too..

I have IE and Opera installed, but I use them more or less only when I'm creating web pages, just to check out that everything works!

It has to be Firefox for me, especially with the FEBE add on. I carry my entire profile around on a stick on my keyring. So, wherever I am I can have MY browser, with MY bookmarks, with MY theme etc.

Closely followed by Opera.

Detest M$ IE !!
